his design was first inspired by this one character and i don't remember why
but!! i know that's the case!

made him red because, and changed the green plasma into a bunch of white fluff.
I went for rounder shapes since he was supposed to be soft and friendly and stupid and all that, yeah.

the hoodie was meant to be a stand-in for the armor. i thought about making it dark purple but
i thought red would fit better with the monochrome (maybe) palette.

now!! the head and ears were shaped to be bear-like, i thought it would work?
i tend to be really inconsistent with my designs though, mainly cuz i forget what changes i made.

like his wristband!! i think it goes on the right wrist, but sometimes i forget he has it at all.
(btw there's no lore behind the wristband. it's just there cuz it's ✨fashionable✨)

or the tail!!! the fluffy one is ok i guess but this one's cool too.

whenever i start drawing him a lot, it's usually to practice drawing a body and anatomy.
i'm pretty happy with the overall round shapes i've given him. they give him character.

it took two years to get here. i don't have much more to add!!
